Aerial "War Games" To Resume Near AREA 51

RACHEL, NEVADA -- July 18, 2003

Chuck Clark, well-known military watchdog and resident of Rachel, Nevada,
confirmed yesterday that the Red Flag exercises, U.S. Air Force co-ordinated,
large-scale "war games" that take place over airspace near Area 51 several
times a year, will resume from this August.
Red Flag 03-4 is scheduled to begin from August 1 and will last till August 29,
said Clark.
(The Air Force's largest aerial exercises had been cancelled earlier this year
due to the War in Iraq.)

Some of the favorite locations from where to watch these great maneuverings of
America's premier military aircraft are: 1) Rachel itself, known also as
"backdoor to Area 51" 2) the North Gate (Back Gate) of Area 51, which is only
about 6 miles southwest of Rachel 3) the area north of Coyote Summit, next
to Hwy 375
4) the Cedar Gate area 5) The Queen City Summit area near Hwy 375 6) the
Powelines Overlook area near Hwy 375 and of course, the world-famous "Mailbox
Rd." area, next to Hwy 375.
A-10s, F-15s, F-16s, F-117s, B-1B, B-2 Bombers, EA-6Bs are some of the
favorite aircraft usually seen during the exercises. Hopefully this time there
will also be some fly-overs of F-22 Raptors.
It will be a great, "free" air show, the best in action. We'll see you all at
Area 51 in August!
