Yes, I have been using unleaded for years. Incidentally, I use the
shiny side out on my aluminum foil, but this is still a topic worthy
of some research.

There is no immunity to the wacko beam.  (It's been rumored the probes
actually enhance its effects.)  Aluminum foil is your only hope.  Lead foil
works better, but the EPA has outlawed that.
