#2. Laurance Rockefeller Died July 11, 2004

Laurance Rockefeller died on July 11, 2004 at the age of 93, after a
brief illness. Mr. Rockefeller was of exceptional importance to UFO
research. Between 1993 and 1995, he supported Dr. John Mack's Center
for Psychology and Social Change in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In
1997, he funded a discovery initiative spearheaded by long-time
friend Marie Galbraith, designed to inform world leaders of the
validity of the UFO issue and to increase pressure for disclosure of
government files.

Mrs. Galbraith arranged for the three most influential civilian UFO
groups in America to unite under the temporary banner of the UFO
Research Coalition: CUFOS (Center for UFO Studies), FUFOR (Fund for
UFO Research) and MUFON (Mutual UFO Network). Drawing on these
organizations' data resources, a 169-page special
report, "Unidentified Flying Objects Briefing Document: The Best
Available Evidence," was compiled. The report was sent by Mr.
Rockefeller and Mrs. Galbraith to virtually every world leader, but
there was little response. It was later published by the Fund for
UFO Research and reprinted in Whitley Strieber's Dell Books "Hidden
Agendas" series.

3. An animal corpse is reported to have been found in Quebec.

All my cryptophotos this time around come from fellow cryptozoology

#4. HAARP to get 132 HF Transmitters

BAE SYSTEMS Receives $35 Million For HAARP Program

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 2004--The Office of Naval
Research has awarded BAE Systems a $35.4 million contract to
manufacture 132 high frequency (HF) transmitters for installation in
the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program's (HAARP) phased
array antenna system. The contract was finalized April 19 with BAE
Systems Information & Electronic Warfare Systems in Washington, D.
C.

In 1992, AT was awarded a contract to design and build the
Ionospheric
Research Instrument (IRI), the HAARP program's primary tool used to
study ionospheric physics. The IRI is currently composed of 48
antenna elements and has a power capacity of 960,000 watts. When
installed, the additional 132 transmitters will give HAARP a 3.6
mega-watt capacity. The HAARP build-out is jointly funded by the U.
S. Air Force, the U. S. Navy and the Defense Advanced Research
Projects Agency (DARPA).

BAE Systems is an international company engaged in the development,
delivery, and support of advanced defense and aerospace systems in
the air, on land, at sea, and in space. BAE Systems Information &
Electronic Warfare Systems is a major producer of aircraft self-
protection systems and tactical surveillance and intelligence
systems for all branches of the armed forces.

#5. The Blood-Sucking Creature from Hell

Is there a connection among the various small, vicious, flying
monsters that have terrorized unsuspecting people around the globe
for decades? Here's what they look like and what they've been up to.

#6. UFO group re-emerges in Sierra Vista (by Michael Sullivan)

About three weeks ago, Pat Burgess of Sierra Vista noticed "a huge,
bright light" hovering over Fort Huachuca. She's sure it wasn't the
blimp that's often tethered overhead. The light was too big and too
bright for that. It was unexplainable.

Seeking explanations for such sightings and other paranormal
phenomena, five people gathered Sunday afternoon in the meeting room
at Sierra Vista Public Library to discuss UFOs and various celestial
mysteries.

The Mutual UFO Network wants to hear their stories.

#8. Book Review: The Day After Roswell (Review By: Neal McLaughlin)

The Roswell incident has been an American tug-of-war since that
stormy morning in 1947 when something extraordinary occurred in the
surrounding desert. What was to follow has been years of
conflicting: reports, witness testimonies and an alleged cover-up by
the United States military and her government.

In his book, Corso leads his readers through a bureaucratic maze
and a political game of hide and seek as he fulfills his duty in the
Foreign Technology Department of the U.S. Army Research and
Development department at the Pentagon.

#10. Professor exposes the aliens among us (by: David Wecker)

In the world of academia, Northern Kentucky University philosophy
professor Dr. Robert Trundle realizes his beliefs are not exactly
widely embraced. "Shunned" is the word he sometimes uses. The title
of his forthcoming book is, in part at least, in response to what he
calls "the cowardice and vanity of a sizeable percentage of American
professors." Scheduled for release early next year, it's called "Is
ET Here? Not Politically, but Yes Scientifically and Theologically"
(EcceNova Editions, Victoria, British Columbia).

Dr. Trundle, 60, occupies an almost monastic office on the second
floor of NKU's Landrum Hall. It's a room about 10 by 10, and every
available square foot is piled high with texts of one sort or
another. I was careful not to touch off an avalanche when I sat
among the stacks the other day and asked him to boil his book down
to its basics.

#11. Cities Found on the Moon!

Reasonable activity of an alien civilization showed up unexpectedly
close to us. We were not ready for it psychologically

We still can come across publications trying to find an answer to
the question: Are we alone in the universe? At the same time,
presence of reasonable creatures has been detected just close to our
home, in the Moon. However, the discovery was immediately classified
as secret, as it was so much incredible that even could shake the
already existing social principles, reports Russia's newspaper
Vecherny Volgograd.

#12. Similar UFO sightings occur exactly 50 years apart (By Barb
Campagnola)

It was Sunday morning, July 28, 2002. The news came on the radio as
I was chatting with a friend: a big ball of blue light had been
spotted in the sky, but we didn't catch where. It was picked up on
radar; fighter jets had been scrambled to the scene. The chase was
witnessed by people on the ground. The light traveled at a
phenomenal rate of speed and then Blip! - it vanished from the radar
and from the skies.

#13. Quote of the Month

It followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light
side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disappeared
completely. It was an engineered structure, made from some type of
metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. The object was
narrow here and wider here, and inside there were openings. Some
places had projections like small wings. The object stayed very
close to us. We photographed it, and our photos showed it to be 23
to 28 meters away.

Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev commenting on a UFO sighting that
occurred while en route to the Solyut 6 space station in April of
1979.

#14. Ufos, What They Are Not (By C.A. Honey)

During a recent search across the web using only one keyword, "UFO,"
I found that the sites under that title alone exceeded several
hundred in number. Thousands of others appeared using the
keyword "Flying Saucers." I'm sure many other sites are listed under
various keywords utilized by the myriads of other names ascribed to
the things I describe as "Flying saucers," "UFOs," "spaceships," and
the like.

Hundreds of pages have been written supposedly giving factual
details about what all these sightings actually are. In checking
them out we find that in nearly all cases the writers are describing
some other persons statements, from many different sources, without
a shred of proof to back up their conclusions. Some of these
conclusions are more fantastic than believing in spacecraft from
other planets.

#15. Savoy man eyes the sky for answers

Sixty-three-year-old Marshall Rosenthal cannot confirm or deny
whether he's been probed by beings from outer space, but if he was,
it was a benevolent probing.

"Did they put their little screwdriver into me? I don't know," said
the mostly retired Rosenthal, who is sure of one thing: He has seen,
on a number of occasions, unidentified flying objects.

The first of the Savoy resident's sightings was in New York in 1959,
when Rosenthal, then 19, was attending City College of New York. He
and a group of friends were part of a social club that organized
group dates with seniors from local high schools.

On one such date night, as a carload of these young people was
heading through Pelham Manor, N.Y. with the radio blaring, they all
saw something inexplicable, Rosenthal said.
