The su-27 has been seen at Groom:

However, this plane looks a bit longer than the su-27.
I suppose the superhornet should be considered [re the other poster],
but then you have to think about the mission of Groom Lake. It seems
they could fiddle with the super hornet at Edwards. Then again, I
photographed an F117a on the ground at Groom, which is also old
technology.

It's probably not one of ours (no stealth). For a typical fighter
size, the plane was probably 12 to 16 miles away, which explains the
poor quality of the photographs. [400mm lens plus 1.4x teleconverter]
This plane flew between sessions of Red Flag on October 12th. It had a
chase plane as well that I neglected to photograph. The plane broke
the sound barrier twice. It flew from Groom Lake to the MOA east of
the base in broad daylight, so there was no attempt to hide the plane,
other than flying very high.
looks like a Su-27 to me..I think its already known that the US have a
couple of those for evaluation, suspected to have come from Ukraine IIRC
