Greetings All,
FWIW,...
I caught a 15sec. blurb for this upcoming show on cable last
night.
Around the 'net someone else caught this extra bit on the show;
ADVERTISEMENT
PETER JENNINGS REPORTING: UFO's: LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE - THURSDAY,
FEBRUARY 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) -- Each year there are thousands of
reports of unidentified flying objects, but the U.S. government
doesn't investgate any of them. This special program will seriously
examine the unexplained phenomena around the world that so many
people believe is proof of the existence of UFOs.
Apparently a 2 hr. special. A couple things I thought worth noting
were;
1. It's during Sweeps Week - evidence of importance to ABC
2. Jennings is last of the (non-discredited) Big Three Anchors -
so again that says perhaps a serious treatment.
3. Fits nicely with the subject of "Disclosure" (capital D) which
has been getting a lot of buzz lately.
I'm sure the many Skeptics here would enjoy mocking and/or debunking
anything the show may say about the subject. The one thing that
intrigues me is the "Life in the Universe" part of the title. *IF*
Disclosure were on the agenda, and *IF* such a process were wrapped
in disinformation for gradual release, then perhaps the real focus is
on Mars, not Flying Saucers.
That is, that NASA really has found some credible evidence of simple
life still extant on the Red Planet. A huge discovery with a great
deal of religious implication. The idea being something like, "Well of
course Flying Saucers are too much -but organisms on Mars, we can
handle that. OK."
