I get this stuff via a google "alert". Google mails me a link to
anything (and unfortumately I mean anything) with the word "Nellis".

BTW, that new hangar is huge.

Wow ! Didja ever stop to think about the logistics of such a
place ? Just think about the HVAC maintainence guys for a moment.
No rooftop units that I see. Maybe the outbuildings in back with the
rebar (?) sticking out.

Consider Miso: Somewhere in there are guys who basically are
not much more than A/C maintainence and they're seeing stuff beyond
our wildest dreams -- or close to it !

I once had a friend (now passed) who was 20+ years in the
USAF - though all he did was building maintainence - pushing a mop
or a buffer much of the time. Yet the USAF moved him all over from
Thule to Edwards to 'Nam to remote SAC bases in Alaska. And more.
He never had any *real* clearance like you'd expect for access for
you and me; Yet he saw many a U-2 and SR-71 take off (SR-71's at nite)
in all their secret glory. Even got to ride in the "Chase Truck" that
would haul ass down the runway beside the U-2 to pick up the
"bicycle wheels" (as my friend called them) that would prop the wings
up until speed translated into lift and then they'd be jetisoned at
take-off.

Basically just Maintainence man, but he saw plenty.
