Re the QMR place...
It's interesting that only 2 of the photos show
any humans. #13 and #14 pics show a young boy
and what looks like his grandfather. But no
campers, badmittin players, cars, trailers,
campers. Nor do they show any RV parking
or recreational facilities or anything else
that you'd typically want to see if you were
looking for an RV park.

That closed gate across the entrance is also
interesting. Not exactly what I'd expect to
see on a typical RV park, open to the public.

incoming camper would gain entrance through
the gate. Do they honk to attract the attention
of the attendants at the guard shack ahead?

exactly right ........ I drove a motor home , every weekend , for
over 14 years and every RV park ad I saw showed the
prime full service lots first and then people all over the park and
clubhouse having a good time ....... this site's pictures
truly are  out of whack. not a very convincing attempt at
a RV park site.

tho QMR is supposed to only have opened last fall or so 
( from when the site went up )  ...... " now " it's padlocked
closed  and has NO access for anyone from the public.
if it ever was open to the public, it must  have been a short
period.  there are NO people to be found , inside the compound,
the  guard shack, the club house and the offices are abandoned and
have weeds growing up all over the place. not open and
hasen't been for a while, if ever. 
even the fancy QMR metal gate is  rusted
and delapidated looking.


remember that the paved road into the QMR  actually is a main county
road called  Sand Hill Rd and continues on beyond the  QMR entrance
( through QMR )  up into the mountains for many miles back into
the canyons.  

a quick trip to the Acme satellite pictures site .. will easily
confirm these details like the county road  and  makes
you wonder how a  ( defunct )  RV business manages to 
block the main road with their gates  !!!! ah ah ah hahaha

Also from the index page photo, no public signs
advertising that it's an RV park. That seems odd.
Driving by the place you'd just see "QMR" on the
block wall.

hah aha haha . doesn't really matter if you don't intend to have
visitors anyway !!!  haha hahahahahaahaha
but you are " very " correct. after I first went there and found
this QMR business that doesn't show on any of the satellite
maps except Google sat pictures  , smack dab across the main
paved county road ...... I had to go home and research it on the web
to figure out what it was. " nothing " at the business site would 
tell you what it is  !!!

And then just to add to the fun...Go to their
photo page. Scroll down to photo #9. What is
the object flying in the sky?

OMG .......... I see it ......... " you "  have sharp
eyes and  good focus to find that.  looks like " they " just
couldn't resist  adding a little  advertisement for one of  their
latest model of maglev  they make !!!! ha haha hahaha a
maybe they have so much of that stuff flying around there ,
they couldn't even help capturing some it on film !  
ah ahha hahahaahah 

it's odd looking and you can't really tell what it is ....... but
maybe they are giving us a little tease   and trying to hide it
cleverly  in their site photos.  ah ah ahhahaa

Lumpy
