vlt.it is a good website. It's on my list for projects.
yea , it's one of the best ( if not the very best ) of it's kind on
the web. If you are interested in this area , take a look at
Stormwise's site and try a few of their projects too. the " new
technology " ferro magnetic resonant rods " can replace those old
huge loop and square antennae of past technologies and do a much
better job in a much smaller package. and portable too .
http://www.stormwise.com/vlf1574projects.htm
get their VERY largest ferro rod ( a little over $100 ) and wind about
4800 turns ( these voodoo technology rods are " self resonant "
and the turns of wire are only a pick-off coil and are not resonant
circuits of any kind ) of #30 magnet wire on it for an antenna,
build their IC equipment signal amp .....
http://www.stormwise.com/elfpre.htm
but instead of the microamp meter, substitute a 3.5k ohm resistor to
ground and add a 100K pot from that cap / res to ground and use the
wiper for output. take your laptop and / or use a modded gauss
master and get the radio shack amp they mention too. use the
" spectrum lab " freeware http://www.qsl.net/dl4yhf/spectra1.html
and get the inexpensive $25 dataq chart recorder set-up
http://www.dataq.com/194.htm and you're all set . set the spectrum
lab SB card software to 0 to 90 hz and share the preamp output with
both spectrum lab and the dataq multi tasked. ( your laptop can do it
in it's sleep. )
you'll be able to easily detect anything from MMWs ( mobile DC
magnetic waves ) to any RF signal from DC to 1600 hz. this
and have sensitivity way beyond your needs and expectations.
contact me if you want more info and some pictures of the mods etc !
with this equipment , you can VERY easily find many types of
hidden and underground activity. you can park at places along the
alien highway and find underground " activity " in interesting
places. many tunnels cross the highway . I don't want to get " too "
detailed with their locations , but for your first field test , take
the above mentioned equipment and park somewhere there is a gravel
" wideout " with piles in it ( you know where ) on the alien highway,
and get a load of the signals there. computers, dc electrical ( rail
car ? ) and AC lighting are to be found . this in a place that no one
would ever think that something exists at all !! ( it's so
remote ha ha ha hah aa ) also, some of those little air strips
that have no buildings ( scattered all over the place !! ) take a look
at those too when you get your equipment running and find out what
the real meaning of " rabbit hole " is !! ha hah ahaha ha
I can also tell you how to add infrasonics to that set up , cheap and
easy too. infrasonics would be a " profound " addition for your
interests. ( a sensor mentioned on the stormwise site as well )

I have gear that I have used to receive signals at 25Khz. Though not
license by the FCC, the signal supposed comes from a Navy base in
Washington state. However, no such signals come from Area 51. Here is
the loop near the TTR, nulling the XSD beacon:

I used to do some ultrasonic ( 25khz to 80 khz or so ) and infrasonic
( below 30hz ) monitoring around a51 and the NTS quite a bit a couple
years back. in the NTS especially but also on the a51 outer areas
they have those " megawatt " so called ultrasonic " animal "
repellers ( don't want contamination of the wildlife do we ?? ah aha
ha ) that are rumored to render any human unconscious quite quickly
if triggered. many people think they are there especially to stop
human intrusion , dunno myself. once , while parked at the NTS
highway plaque , I was taking an ultrasonic look and their equipment
fired ( buzzard landed near a sensor ) and it destroyed my
receiver transducers, it was so powerful. I'd estimate it was at
least 8 to 10 miles distant ! scary.
This is my recording of the LAX travelers information system radio that
I recorded parked on the gravel near the ET Highway

Clearly, the equipment is sensitive. Other than the PYD beacon coming
>from near Groom Lake, I have found nothing of interest from Groom Lake
down to about 10Khz (the bottom end of my gear).
dunno what you use for a RX , but you can " now " get these HP
SLMs for about $100 or less ( used to be $800 - $1200 and cost
$18,000 new ) , they tune 50 hz to 32 mhz and are
extremely high quality and very desirable. people mostly don't know
about them ! a shocking great RX .

I seriously doubt you will catch anti-gravity aircraft with VLF
equipment, mostly because such technology doesn't exist except in Bob
Lazar's imagination. However, it is possilbe you will catch noise from
ground sensors, though I will say that I haven't detected any what is
known as "energized loops" in the ground. I think the vehicle detection
is done with passive sensors (magnetometers).
the anti grav stuff would generate DC magnetic " waves " or wave
distortions and probably have little or no ac magnetic signature
( RF in other words ) except below 12 hz perhaps. the equipment I
mentioned above can " easily " find those types of DC wave
distortions from probably hundreds of miles away.
if they do test " mag lev " equipment out there , you'd be well
equipped to " see " it with the above stuff. humans can't hear THAT
low
( so " direct " conversion McGreevy type equipment is useless
http://www-pw.physics.uiowa.edu/mcgreevy/ ,
http://www.auroralchorus.com/bbb4rx3.htm )
, but you could easily " up convert " with a modded Gauss Master
http://www.ghoststore.net/gauss_master.html as a super sensitive
vco and / or see and analyze it with spectrum lab / dataq . ALL
this stuff is a " world " of phun to be had !!!
