Eagle should be a F15 callsign, but since it was a slow mover, I
suspect a chopper. The audio sounded like a chopper in the background.
[The scanner audio for Eagle 34 was run through 3 notches filters
(400,800,1200) to get rid of the generator noise.]
I thought DD might refer to the parking spot for the choppers.
I haven't even dropped off the film yet from Tikaboo, but I'm not
expecting great things. Visibility was OK, but the wind was just a
bitch. I let the other guy use the scope first, figuring I'd take my
chances with thermal wiggles rather than camera shake. Anyway, I could
see 3 choppers with the binocs towards the front of the base.

Any clues on "delta delta"?
Taxiway designation. If it is DD (not just D said twice) it's probably a
short connector between taxiway D and something else, like a ramp.
