The fact the feds change this story doesn't mean much. Take the
infamous story of Bill Clinton getting a haircut on the tarmac of LAX,
holding up air traffic. First the White House denies the story. Then
they admit it is true and apologize. Then some reporter talks to ATC,
files a FOIA for tapes and records, and determines the haircut story is
not true. It turns out the White House said it was true to get the
story out of the news cycle, even though they knew the event never took
place.

Now if you ever examined a crash site, there is always something left
behind. You just can't get every little piece of a plane. I've found
metail debris stuck in trees hundreds of feet from the point of
impact..

What the UFO community needs is physical evidence. I count photography
and video as physical evidence if it can be proved not to be doctored,

the UFO community not to take the photographic evidence and then go off
the deep end.

That Mexican Air Force video was good stuff. The claim was they were
seeing gas buring off wells in the Gulf. The Phoenix Lights seemed
promising, until all the BS started regarding the video (aka going off
the deep end).

Pretty much that's so, but,... If these were the same standards applied
to the Mob a lot of Dons would still be on the street. Relevance here ?
In the absence of hard evidence ( flying saucers, dismembered mob-hits,
whatever), proof of conspiracy can be considered de facto evidence or
else why cover up, conspire, or otherwise conceal ?

That is what makes Roswell so powerful. Since we know ( by their own
admissions) that the government has already changed their story 2(+ 1/2)
times - weather balloon, project mogul, project mogul with time compression
by witnesses that allows for test dummies 'chute drops - we need only prove
conspiracy to have de facto proof.

Even if it turned out to be say, time travellers or interdimensional warps
or just some incredible display of the most bizarre and anomalous plasma
physics, it could still be taken as proof of UFO reality until the Conspirators
( i.e., the Feds ) came out with the "real" explanation. IMHO, a key factor
to note here is that the USAF Roswell Report was only really required to
answer the basic Roswell facts and explain them as classified but mundane
events. They never really needed to explain the bodies/dummies at all as
that is usually associated with a 2nd crash site. The fact that the USAF
volunteered it is highly suggestive of the pre-emptive release of disinfo.
Just like some guilty criminal who trips themselves up by their own changing
alibis : The Feds reveal *their* conspiracy and hence the core of truth
that is in there.
