Hey, thanks for the plug.

The photo in question is at

The roadrunners website does a right click trap, but you can get around
it very easily to find the URLs. The easiest way to do this is to use
the Firefox browser. With the page in the browser, click on tools, then
page info, the media. You have to scroll though the list to get the URL
for the image.

The roadrunners website is full of good info, but I wish they didn't
use so many fancy web techniques. All that flashing makes it hard to
read.

I'm not entirely sure those planes are white since it may be a google
map artifact. It looks like the CCD is blooming, much like overexposed
film. However, we do know that they fly white aircraft, namely the
Su-27 that both Ian and myself have seen. I photographed the Su-27 in
"free territory." Clearly the base didn't give a damn since they were
flying it between Red Flag sessions, and they certainly knew there were
people out there with cameras.

I see these white things on Google Earth that appear long and tapered.

Then here is something that looks totally computer generated

On a completely unrelated note, I found that Trader Joes has marinated
beef similar to that great Armenian BBQ you brought to the picnic. On
the last Tikaboo I did, I cooked one and split it with Trevor. [Hey, it
was a pound and a half, so we were stuffed to the gills with meat, not
that the hike wouldn't exceed the caloric intake.] Talk about your last
meals..Damn, it was good. We did our final packing while BBQ at the new
facilities near the lake. If you look for the beef at TJs, they come
vacuum packed, so it's not obvious what is in the package unless you
look carefully.

An excellent, recent close-up photo of a section of Area 51 just
appeared on Roadrunners Internationale website. It shows the The Red
Hat hangars at Area 51.
The slightly-angled satellite photo (that seems to have taken from a
northwesterly direction, i.e., facing southeast) shows 3 white aircraft
parked right in front of Hangar 4. It also shows Hangar 3 (to the left
of Hangar 4). It also shows Hangar 5 (next to and south of Hangar 4).
It also shows Hangar 2 (left of Hangar 5 and next to and south of
Hangar 3.
Could one of the 3 white aircraft (the largest one) be B58?
You can see the photo towards the bottom of the front page of
www.roadrunnersinternationale.com, one of the 3 best and most extensive
websites on Area 51, the other two being www.dreamlandresort.com and
