About 45 air miles from Mercury to Dreamland.
And with the base tucked up against the east
foothills of Papoose, I can't imagine being
able to see the runway(s) until you got
up pretty close.

The guys over at DLresort were guestimating
PLANET to be about 4-5 miles south of RWY 32,
inline with the runway(s). That really confuses
me too. The typical arrival is PLANET to PYRAMID.

If PLANET is only 4-5 mi south of the base, they
PYRAMID would have to be essentially at the base,
or maybe that other PYD that the DF guys found
northwest of the base.

You certainly wouldn't fly TO groom via a point
5 mi s/o the base, back to mercury.

Logical would be that Merc is Planet. Pyramid is
BTY060030.

Then that still leaves me confused about "field in sight".

I would say that ABBIE is the point that is 4-5 mi south
of the base.
