You are asking good questions.  I believe the answer is that
'intelligent' life exists on Mars.  This opens a 'can of worms' for the
government.

Remember that the government isn't a single entity.  It consists of
thousands of factions each with their own axe to grind.  NASA might, if
they existed in a vacuum, announce the existence of intelligent life on
Mars.  It would probably bring them increased funding for Mars trips in
the near future.

But UFO's goes back to 1947 in the United States.  The USAF sought to
protect the United States in any way they could from catastrophic
destruction and invasion by the Aliens controlling/manning these
incredible UFO vehicles.  They, apparently, used coercion in the
Roswell case, as well as top secret classification.

All of this is conjecture, but assuming these 'UFO's' were real, then
the worst possible course to take would be to confront them -- back in
1947 -- with our Sabre Jets which weren't quite capable of supersonic
speed.  It was the Super Sabre that could exceed Mach 1.  The UFO's
were violating our airspace, an act of war, but we weren't ready.

Public opinion might have pressured Congress into ordering the USAF and
Naval Air to attack the UFO's thus bringing death and destruction to
America with weapons too advanced for our military.  Hence, TOP SECRET
classification and 'eyes only' messages for Presidents and the
country's top leaders.

Our country, however, is based on a Constitution with Freedom of Speech
and certain required 'openness' with regard to the goings on of the
government.  The National Security Act and other legislation allowed
for the keeping of secrets from the public based on national security
requirements.  Thus started the black cloak of coverup and denial.

Coverup and denial are 'dirty' things, however, and no administration
wants that bubble to burst during their watch.  And, neither does
Congress or the DOD, CIA, or NSA, or anyone else in the government for
that matter.

But facts are facts and on my Star Dot Blog (
http://stardot.blogspot.com/   ) we have 'human' appearing Martians
running around in loin cloths, not to mention the Martian 'cats' and a
couple of creatures that defy description.

I would like to point out that if my conjecture turns out to be true it
does not reflect on the current administration, because they -- like
all previous administrations -- inherited this national security
'denial and coverup'.  They didn't create it.  I would also like to
point out that the capability of out military relative to the UFO
capabilities may still fall somewhat short of being able to cope
effectively with their technology.

But it is hard to hide the facts coming from the Spirit Rover pictures.

I believe that Americans, and the people of various countries, are
adults and are capable of understanding that we can't immediately 'lay
down the law' on these UFO beings with technology that surpasses our
own.  Our space exploration was bound to bump into them someday . . .
and that day has come.

I also believe that this situation can best be dealt with by a major
push toward developing a super technology of our own.  We absolutely
must reach the 'Alien' level ASAP!  I, furthermore, believe that this
is possible.  America's engineers and scientists are the best on Earth.
 Impossible things have got to become their daily chore.

It is now time for 'warp drives', 'spaceplanes' -- and a super weapon
or two.  It is time to 'bite the bullet', not shirk our responsibilites
or hide from the facts.  It is time for America to give the DOD some
real money to fund those 'black projects' in the hopes that they will
keep us safe from possible Alien Attack.

And possibily, just possibly, the Martians are a bit worried about
UFO's too!  One of my pictures shows something akin to a ballistic
missile.  They may be worried sick about advanced technology Aliens
too!  It might be time for a little diplomacy.

This is all conjecture, of course, but the Martian Spirit Rover
pictures are facts, not fakes.
