This paper claims that low yield nukes can range from 0.01ton to 1
Kton.
For completeness, a c-5 can carry 145 tons, or 0.145Kton.
Supposedly... there was a 105mm howitzer round that yielded 1 KT in the
arsenal. I have no idea who they expected to adjust that round onto
the target but I formed a pretty firm perspective early on that it
wasn't going to be me unless the situation was pretty damn desperate.
The M102 howitzer fires a 33-pound projectile of semifixed
ammunition and at charge 7 will fire 11,500 meters.
