I'm a little confused by what you mean by "laser radar" to be honest? I
know there's RADAR, and Lasers, but how they work together... not sure?

Oh - just to show how much of a tit I am sometimes - I forgot to lookup
"lidar" before I wrote the above! Goggle is my friend :)

Thats something at least - were you aware of the hidden tunnels before?

Yeah, I think that is a good point.

Of course, without physical evidence (i.e a post on the net), you can't
verify any of these techniques have been used. Now I'm not calling
Kracula a liar as there are things I know and exploit around the ranges
that I don't post unless someone else finally figures it out and
reveals it. Then my records of what I recorded over the years show up
on my website.

Getting back to IR, you can sense down to about 2um with those Sony
HAAD CCDs. That is no way near as good as a thermal imager, which Tom
Mahood says he used around the ranges. Tom didn't show any images
either, but given the amount of research he did around the ranges, he
is a straight shooter so I believe he did use a thermal imager on Groom
and the TTR.

I did some video with the Sony HAAD on airplanes flying at night,
though locally, i.e. not around the ranges. You can stuff this url into
the real player:

I need to make a bracket to hold the Sony CCD on my camcorder to I can
use the viewfinder more effectively.

Other Groom Lake video:

night vision)

fun)
