That poor valley is looking pretty smoggy these days.
We had a huge fire in the 70's, right there on the slope
where you're standing (assuming you're the p'grapher).
It's my photo. I think I took it early in the the AM, so maybe a fog
was lifting. Techachapi air is quite clean. Perhaps all the underground
bases filter their air before releasing it to the atmosphere. Of
course, LA smog could be an issue. At some point in time, the Vegas
smog was more from LA than local, though now the city is so big I think
Vegas is making their own smog.
