we'll  acme maps has " FINALLY " updated their maps for the Tehachapi
area to modern hi-res shots.   now you can ( much better ) compare the
Tehachapi underground base photos  ( all about 10 - 20 years old ) to
what is in place now.  (  you know they're that old because of tree
growth, numbers  of new  additional structures, amount of road
improvements  etc.  ) 

for some unknown reason ... even as  recently as 2005 , Acme had maps
of the exact same age and appearance as those on the underground base
site  ( whom can say why ?? )  ... now the maps  do represent what is
' actually " there and are hi-res to boot.  ( possibly because the
underground base stuff has been totally discredited or removed 
nowadays so there is no reason to keep the old maps  any more ??  )  

notice that about 85% - 90% +  of everything shown on the underground
base site STILL remains in place on roads that are open to the public
and " anyone " can drive right to anything  as shown on the maps.
obviously  nothing that  shows now  AND  on the ( much older and far
less populated base site maps )  underground base maps  would / could
represent  anything  covert or  related to an underground base.

however  ( there is a lot to look at , so you can help me out here )
......... if you find something on the underground base site maps and
that something is " missing " on the current maps  , please post your
findings here and I / we'll take a closer look at your  " finds " .  
 of course , mostly you will find TONS more things on the current maps
as  many ( 2 decades ?? )  years have passed  since the era  that  the
underground base maps were made ...... keeping in mind this difference
( as the many additional  structures , roads,  etc.  can make
identification of  the older items  a bit confusing )  take a look -
see  and  let me know if you find anything of interest !
