if you are speaking of the topographical location of the land under
the saucer aircraft  in picture  saucer7.jpg  ......... it's
supposedly  here ,  about 45 -  50 years ago ........

all these pictures are from the same generalized area ..... 
that  round saucer was " rumored " ( ha ha ha  )  to be 
hangared at both  area51  and TTR from time to time . 
hear tell that program has grown and changed  and improved 
a BUNCH in the   last few decades ...... dunno personally.     
    

someone emailed me and said I should mention : ( you old timers
already knew this but newcomers might not )
  back in the 50s - 60s ........ the only people that had  access to
spy satellite photos  were governments.  sooooooooo ... when  photos
( like the saucer photos mentioned in this thread  ) were published ,
they contained  " lots " of visual manipulation  ,  commonly some /
many  elements of the background or foreground , in this case  light
" enhancement  / embellishment "   of the  easily changed desert floor
features under the craft.  these " embellishments " were made for
security purposes , usually   to thwart  exact identification of
items  / locations in the pictures by automated photo scanners.

governments had automatic photo  scanning machines  which could
scan their satellite photos and elements in  pictures  and  match
locations  , devices  etc.  without human intervention. this  early
machine automation allowed  a lot of real estate to be checked /
compared , often  providing important government and military
intelligence.  " we " kinda started it but shortly thereafter "
everybody " was doing it by the early - mid 60s.  these photo scan
machines were fairly crude by today's standards and were easily thrown
off by this form of simple photo manipulation. 

ever since the advent of high speed  PCs and modern FFT
pattern recognition  software .......  trying to hide stuff by
slightly  manipulating ID elements in photos would be futile. ( ever
see the facial or fingerprint software on those tv crime shows ?? )  

back in the good ole days .... numbers of stories circulated   about
these saucer aircraft pictures that were released to the public.
 besides  being nearly impossible to fly (  they  crashed a lot ) at
the time  ( wouldn't be a problem these days tho with flight 
computers  )  ..... workers  in the  government claimed that to make
some of these photos the government " faked " ( oh no !!! ha ha ha a
)  a lot of them by towing saucers  behind other aircraft and dropping
them from larger aircraft and photographing them before they fell to
the ground. not to mention many other means of staging the photos.

tho this was  thought to be true  for  several years , eventually
many forms of the saucer aircraft were actually flown over large
crowds of onlookers  during demonstrations and private government
vendor style air shows.  the vast majority of information about
development of  these programs was / is never released to the public. 

there is a rich lore of stories associated with the covert " saucer "
programs , their ultimate purpose , their propulsion systems and the
initial source of their  technology  ( generally accepted to be nazi
german and NOT alien  ) .  LOTS of this story lore continues today
.... with lots of claims of current / modern  covert saucer programs
and  high tech mag-lev  lift / propulsion to name a few.  like with
everything else the government does...  they'll be 20 years old and
replaced by something totally new / different before we ever actually
find out any details about them ( if ever , in some cases civilians "
never "  know about  certain projects  ) .
