Hmm. There appears to have been something going on about 900 meters
west of one of those points, at 37.3393 N, 115.7725 W, at the time the
Google Earth image was taken.

I haven't checked lately, but Google Earth is generally off about 3/4
of a mile. That is the reason I used the USGS topo map to locate the
events. However, I haven't seen this particular area of the range
before, though it is probably not related to the earthquake. Maybe it
is the Groom mine.

Not related to the original post, but I think the Groom Lake imagery
has been updated. The new taxiway looks different.  I see a 2007
copyright, though that may not indicate the date of the photo.
