Yup, nothing to see here, move along now.
I wonder how many of the faults on this map were created in the last
century?

there has been quite extensive study and testing related to nuke
explosions and earthquakes , as you may imagine.
( ie: http://bssa.geoscienceworld.org/cgi/content/abstract/79/4/1142
)

measuring / detecting the difference between the two is a simple
matter, scientifically speaking. truckloads / worlds of data and
studies exist.

think about it .... if explosions could cause quake faults ,
quake zones or even " echo spectra " after quake phenomena
then Plutonium Valley ( the NTS ) would look like a shattered car
windshield , fault wise , and would quite literally " swarm " with
little quakes , tremors , fumaroles etc. ( tho it never does ).

in the Plutonium Valley , thousands of extremely massive explosions ,
both surface and miles into the earth's crust ...... explosions of a
size quite unimaginable to average intelligent humans ........ have
taken place with ' absolutely " no detected seismic fault generations
, after quakes or current seismic related activity of any kind. even
in the few places where the government intentionally drilled and nuked
a fault line ..... nothing happened there either. all this suggesting
that it would take force beyond our wildest current abilities to
generate with any known nuclear device, to actually disturb the
earth's crust in some measurable lasting way.

people have always worried about stuff like this ........

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/chronicle/archive/2001/12/17/MN12230.DTL

but in fact no seismic activity appears to relate to any of ways we
have abused the poor surface of planet under us .... even the
potential rad leaks ( like mentioned above related to faults and
fracture zones ) haven't materialized ( yet anyway ) .

of course , our experience with the side effects of the large
" deep water " giant nuke blasts is a totally different story .
h ha haha ah

These little quakes may just be "ring of fire" side effects from all the
recent quake activity over in Indonesia and Taiwan.
<http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/>

the problem with a large number of the " quakes " mentioned in the
USGS site in Nevada is that they happened at zero miles depth.
on the surface , in other words. earthquakes don't happen on just the
surface . it's hard to say about some of the other stuff , tho many
of them are listed at depths of known Yucca Mountain tunnels .....
but hey !! ... we'll actually NEVER know the reality of any of this
... most likely ...... ha ha ha haah ahaha

it's fun to speculate tho ..........

take a look at the satellite map of the shocking pockmarked NTS and
reflect on the numbers and sizes of the explosions that have taken
place there ...... if none of THAT has caused any lasting seismic
crust disturbances , then the ( in comparison ) piddley little
explosions we are doing these days aren't going to have any impact
as well.

think of this too ......... if there are " surface " seismic " events
" and seemingly related subsurface ( real earth seismic events )
then it's highly unlikely it's ( something even as big as a massive
nuclear ) a bomb causing it. if it's actually happening ( why we
should keep looking for this stuff ) .. then it's something NEW
...... stuff we don't yet know about ... and stuff with force / power
beyond our wildest thoughts ( considering our experience of the nuke
past ) .

interesting stuff ..........

( of course , after this thread ......... we'll probably never see <
accurate > quake data in the Nellis area displayed again
ya yay ah ha ha haah )
