Do yu think these exercises near Fallon are Top Gun?

dunno about ole gunnut but what I see is this .......

jets  (  f/a-18s I think ) bristling with weapons drop out of
somewhere up north ( of hawthorne city .... up towards
fallon nas )  ..... into the small canyon  (  just skimming slightly
below the canyon tops )  down  ( s.e. ) slightly east of   395  with
red flares spurting out of the back of them.  trails of  sams  ( from
the area of the truck mounted batteries of missiles tucked behind the
hill on the NAWTL )   are seen to arch up sorta toward the jets  ,
generally  ( don't look convincing to me for some reason ) .....
pretty much " whooosh "  it's over in a flash ........... just red
flares ... black smoke from other flares ..... a smoke trail or two (
from the sams ) ....... and a memory of how wild and loud it all
seemed.


it could be training for pilots giving them experience being fired at
....... or maybe testing of new weapons detection / countermeasures
systems,  testing of new ground fired devices or  ???? .... who knows
....... it could be a lot of things I guess .. but it all happens so
fast you don't really get a good look at it ....... it's trippy .

 the only pictures you can get are of the remnants of flares and smoke
trails ....  it happens ( seemingly ) without warning and so fast you
couldn't  really get a good shot off before it was too late.
I'm not even sure those are f/a-18s .... could be f-14s or ? 
dunno ......   

you can watch for hours ,  days even and nothing ... then just when
you  have your back turned doing something else  (  getting silver out
of the mine holes )   blammmmm ..... it's happens .......  instantly
it's over .....
