It's pretty well understood that the stresses of industrialized
beekeeping is pushing hives over the limit. Organic hives that aren't
trucked around aren't disappearing. It's basically stress from overuse
of the bees.

If you raise almonds (or whatever), just maintain your own hive and life
goes on.

Have Africanized bees had an effect on the hives and pollinixation(sp)
in general?
Just curious as I read Africanized bees were more violent and were
taking over hives PBS and was curious if they were less inclined to
pollinate or
do positive pollinization/work as per non-africanized bees...

introduce 'africoonization' and the real work-level drops and level of
violence increases----amazing how bees reflect real human life values/
society
