This is from a roll that I shot at pretty high magnification just as an experiment. It's been mentioned her (or at DLR) previously that it appears one side of the roof is longer than the other. I know zero about aircraft hangers. Is the asymmetry of the roof somehow significant to what it might house? Lumpy In Your Ears for 40 Years www.lumpymusic.com
We know it is very unlikely any door will face Tikaboo, so maybe they decided to get a bit more floor space by extending the roof on one side. It's not completely clear to me if there is going to be a door on the side (i.e. end) visible from Tikaboo. http://www.lazygranch.com/images/a51pan/june2007/radar_color.jpg This is the radar area. Note what looks like a big ass flat bed truck. I'm at a loss as to what went weird with the film. Normally you get a bright spot in the center. This is true of all lenses, but it is very evident with simple telescopes which emphasize sharpness over field flattening. [That is, refractor telescopes have less elements than camera lenses. ] The panorama was shot over two different rolls, and the rolls looked different, like perhaps there was something funny in the processing. Eh, maybe I should go digital......
