I had a quick thought (trying to think outside the box), although
looking at the doors I don't think I'm right - maybe it was a data
center?

I've seen quite a few asymmetrical metal framed buildings - never
quite sure why.  I've always assumed its to add roof space on one
side, for offices and such.  But, could it be due to the suns location
in the sky - perhaps the building can reflex heat better the way its
been designed.
