Besides being liberal Democrats, the members of the Galactico Federales are 
all certified kooks.

I thought you all got the last ship out of Rancho Santa Fe back in '97 when 
Admiral Applewhite convinced his thirty-eight lieutenants to drink the 
purple juice so that they could all take a ride on the Galactic Federation 
starship that they believed was hiding behind the comet with Jesus at the 
helm.

I guess some of you got away after all.
