Shouldn't that be rec.trailers.military?
Towed gliders, targets, and decoys would be discussed in
rec.aviation.miltary so towed trailers would be in
rec.trucks.military.<G>
But towed military trailers are actually towed targets.

Heh, I recall the Navy got realy irate at us once for targeting a freshly
primered trailer for grenade launcher practice off an old runway. From
three hundred meters it looked like a rusty old trailer someone left
behind.
No sense of humour? It's not like they were still painting it at
the time. Some people are just too picky about these things.
