Just wondering if anyone would like to hazard a guess as to how much a
cammo dude pulls in a year?

More than $50k I would think.

Probably 12 shifts + nights weekends.

It depends on who they actually work for.

Their duty schedules are probably 10 or 12 hours standard, with shift change
overlaps.
10 hour shifts and 4 day weeks, with full overtime days is more likely the
pattern, to support an overlap without built-in overtime.

Similar contract security related positions can range anywhere from $12 to
$35 per hour, depending on the posting.
And with special training, multiple firearm weapons certification and
security clearances, the resource pool it probably not that large.

On the other hand if it's government staffed, they probably have military
service duty waiting lists for these jobs.
This scenario might include incentives such as expanded education, special
pay scales and retirement packages.
They would also be likely to offer re-enlistment incentives IF they do not
force limited posting durations to keep old timers from learning too much.

I'd hazard to guess it's in the range between 60K and 100K, not counting
overtime and benefits.
