Yes, they record the license plates and have the ability to find the
registered owner. I don't know if they take the next step and contact
the rental firm to see who rented the vehicle.

At the back gate, the guard played a trick on a visitor by looking up
his plate, grabbing the phone in the shack, taking the handset
outside, then calling his name and saying "the call is for you."

Since you committed no crime, I wouldn't be concerned.

Get the cheap stuff while you can. The Republicans will be out of
power soon and the dollar will be strong again. Pitty us in the states
that buy foreign goods.
