The Soviet GPS jammer looks like it's made out if a tool box!
The show is free. Parking was $3 this year. Nellis has the tightest
security of any air show I've been to, though I've never been to
Andrews. [I suspect they do cavity searches there.]
The trend has been to park vehicles off the base since vehicles can be
bombs. The times I've be able to get on base, they look under the car
with mirrors or a camera, and make you pop the hood. Anyway, for
Nellis you park at the Speedway and they bus you onto the base. At
Edwards, you park on the dry lake and take buses.
I failed to get a photo of the panel of that jammer. All the keys were
labeled in English. My recollection is the box was a copy of what the
Soviets used. The guy said the Soviet version was labeled in English
as well.
