Well, if it can tell the difference between a person and a bovine.....
Yeah good point.
It's hard to know how sophisticated the software is that runs it - but
watching a video on their site seems to the software tells the
difference in objects by how they move.
you guys are really kidding about all this aren't you , or
possibly making fun of the several uwbsarsurv-sats they moved off
from domestic assignments / testing ( to the mideast ) ?
those 1st gen uwb units have been airborne for several years, now
and even UAVs fly with 4th - 5th gen units attached to their
underbellies ! there are probably so many " birds " up now they are
practically bumping into each other. heard they were one of GW's
pet projects aimed towards border control as well ( probably built
by some of his business buddies h aha ha ha ) .
hear tell that "all " the important local " special " spots are still
being " toasted " 24/7 as they supposedly have for several years
now.
supposedly the navy owns the satnet ( I dunno , go figure ) hardware
but the cammo dudes are taped into some ( very little ) of it as
well. at least , the ones over this way are.
ground based surveillance radar went out with the covered wagon ......
heck you even see them ( the 15km 8087 jobbies ) on ebay from time
to time.
