Palmdale airport is open to the public again since there are scheduled
commercial flights. (Skywest from the Bay Area.)  I shot these on
12/01/2008. You are still pretty far from the action. These were done
with a 400mm f5/6 lens with 1.4x teleconverter. Most are 1/3 frame
croppings.

The color is off the charter since I was dealing with smoke from a
fire in Lancaster, sun through coastal fog, and late afternoon light.
