I don't see an APRS digi near Angel Peak.
But there's a guy KE7REY (KE7REY-1 mobile and -5 something?
icon is a dog) at Amargosa Valley. That's about as close to Angel
as I see any APRS. But I do see US 95 mobiles
covered all the way up from LV to TONOPAH.
So they're getting coverage from somewhere.
I never got any repeater in Tonopah or Warm Springs to work. I am told
but haven't confirmed that there is a repeater on 147.39 in Tonopah.
I'm seeing one at Tonopah, one of the
N7ARR machines on 146.640- PL 123.0.

It is IRLP node 3396. So if you are
familiar with how to access that, you
could talk from your HT there in CA or
Iceland or the S Pole just by entering
the DTMF tones.

Yes. Take out wrenched ankle.

Yeah, I need to figure out IRLP. I got a FT60 which has some modes
that are supposed to make IRLP easier. It's just a matter of reading
the instructions, no rocket science.
From what I've read, IRLP is strictly ham access, no computer VOIP. I
think echolink does both.
