Basically I was accused of piracy by giving George Knapp a photo of
the new hangar. The timing was such that I didn't even know about the
new hangar prior to my hike. The DLR photo and mine were taken about a
week apart, so I was away from the internet prior to my Tikaboo hike.
The really funny thing was the Dycoms photo that ended up on the
Howland website. There is all this ranting about a DLR photo being
pirated when it turns out it was my photo. The time of day based
shadows matched mine exactly. Mine was a bit sharper due to the
jpeg2000 versus jpeg, plus I use a refractor rather than a reflector.
It's really hard to get an edge to edge shot that is sharp with a
reflector, especially if you hike with one. Reflectors are so touchy
regarding alignment.
