So it was maybe a three hour bit torrent download. There were only 4
seeders, so Peter and Kate aren't nearly as popular as they think.

I'm really curious now, do we know what episode it was, I will grab it
off Pirate Bay

Then I had to install a codec for Xvid. Like we need yet another f-ing
codec. No luck on the windows box. I got it working on one of the
linux boxes after downloading a RPM and doing an install.

Divx or Xvid are commonly used for TV file sharing - on windows I use a
codec pack, on Linux it is a bit harder, depends on the distro. Ubuntu
is easy.

Windows 7 will have Divx built in.

Xvid wouldn't install on my x64 PC. The deal with the Linux box was
stranger since it requires a bit more than just a codec. There are
three packages that make up xvid. Anyway, it required reverting back
one revision on a certain library routine that videolan used. Trust
me, lots of WTF moments to get that running. Even then, it only worked
in one of the players (Noatun).

Regarding the bit torrent, I don't have it handy anymore, Katie and
Peter will get you close, then you look for the episode number. You
can skip half the show.
