I don't know the specifics of the listening device at the end of Groom
Road, other than something exists. It was an incident involving the
Cammo Dudes, who were quite some distance away on a hilltop,
interjecting a comment by loudspeaker to a group's very quiet
conversation one night at the signs. It could be something fixed and
hidden, but I suspect it was more likely a shotgun mic (or some
variant) the Dudes had in their truck and pointed at the group.
Dudes just wanna have fun.....
Those cheap parabolic microphones claim 300ft. Maybe from Hawkeye Hill
to the signs could be sensed. That is about 1000ft.
