I took a wonderful couple out to Area 51 for a tour (They were just
regular people from Canada!). I noticed down by the warning signs on
Groom Lake Road a camera I had never seen before. It is on a tall
tower very similar to the one at the back gate. It is located between
the hill to the left of the signs with the two cameras on the tripods
and between the hill that you can climb and see the guard shack. The
camera can be seen between the two hills quite far in the distance but
it looks like can film most of Groom Lake Road. I have never noticed
it before. I can only be noticed between the two hills. How long has
it been there? Just wondering.
You can see it on Google Earth. It has been there maybe two years.
Have you done Hawkeye Hill?
