One idea for the race track might be to put a few miles on the
vehicles before taking them back to gate 700. Look at it this way. A
civilian driver making a delivery to Groom Lake enters the NTS and
take his truck all the way to gate 700. From that location, a military
truck driver takes the truck to the base to do the offload. Now a
clever truck driver could note his mileage when he parks it at gate
700, then see the final mileage when the truck is returned, take the
difference, divide by two, and get a rough estimate as to how far the
truck was driven on the base and then estimate which building got the
delivery.
Just a theory.
