OK, here is what I do know.  When I left TTR they told me they were
closing it, of course we know they were not then or now.  We used to
be able to dive our own vehicles from Tonopah to the site and back.
Once they started to make noises of closing they stopped it then.  Not
for any other reason excpet they were afraid we might cart something
away.
