I suppose it doesn't have to be radar. But let's consider the text on
the badge:

It sure sounds like radar to me.
I agree to a point, I'm of the opinion that its an old
radar trailer that has been recycled for other uses. antenna removed.
perhaps a camera or observers shelter with the sides that lift up, using
the antenna drive moters to move the shelter, to follow aircraft or
training activity above or on the valley floor. the stove pipe stack
gives me the impression that its manned when in use..
What bothers me about that tag, is the last line. "ORD CORPS USA"
thats an OLD term that has not been used for many years.
I've seen housing similiar to that, but I can,t remember off hand where.
I'm checking older portable air defense radar photos trying to come up
with a match, or even a clue...
The trailer the shelter is mounted on appears to be a common style used
for anti-air equipment from WWII.
Just my opinion of course..
