This was on the back of the trailer.

OK looking again at the maint manual..

the below the tag is a number stampped in the metal itself

 GS-18062-117

according to the maint manual, Thats a manufactures part number.
that makes the trailer a M-406
the GS-18062 was made for the Nike-Hercules system.
and is listed as antenna-mount-low-bed trailer..

Page two, table one

Now, we know that the trailer and the tripod mount itself..
M406 and the mount is an original part of the MPA-4 radar.
(Nike target tracking radar) but the tag sez its a target ranging.
so back to work..

still have not figured out the shelter on the turntable/mount.

the two blue lights under the shelter, are surely warning lights
to make sure folks stay away from the unit when its working or turning.
one on either end..

This is certainly an order of magnitude better than what I expected to
get from that number. However, I've yet to see any markings on the
upper unit. Now I think I know what we're doing wrong here. Often what
you find on the range is foreign radar since usually the ground units
are the enemy. I wasn't thinking in that manner since they is way off
the range, but you never know. The only US ground hardware I've seen
are Patriot missiles, which is not the case here.

I'll look around the FAS Soviet era stuff.
