The questions about what it all means!  For many people Area 51 is
more than just an Air Force Testing facility...

You're trying desperately to make the base something
it's not. For mature, adult researchers, it's still
challenging and entertaining and mysterious to view
it as exactly what it is, without all the underground,
aliens, Lazarisms etc.

For others, I guess there needs to be some kind of
"religious" component.

For me, I am fine with what it really is, an Air Force base.  It is
plain and simply a test facility that is part of Edwards Air Force
Base.  Those are the facts.  I have been in the military and am very
interested in Area 51 for this alone.  I look at the other "stuff" as
an added bonus.  It is very interesting to read and discuss the other
aspects.  In actuality, it is disappointing to think we are just now
working on a scram jet engine that can some day be fitted into a jet.
We should already have a hypersonic jet.  Maybe we do, but it doesn't
look like it.  I wish we were more advanced then what "appears" to be
worked on and developed at Area 51.  Hopefully there is some new
advanced project about ready to be housed in that big new hangar.  I
never went into my fascination with Area 51 believing anything Bob
Lazar said was true.  Do I believe he is an important part of Area
51?  Damn right!  Was the original Area 51 Research Center important?
It sure was.  There are some people doing a fantastic job currently
and they don't seem to be "burning out".  People like Peter, Gary,
Joerg, and a very few others are important.  Many of the ones I am
talking about and enjoy reading their material were into Area 51 for
other reasons.  They simply get burned out or give up the quest when
they come to the realization that Area 51 is what it is!!!
