This is a spot where I'm pretty sure there was one of those
barrels with a number on it that the contractors use as reference
points when they trip alarm. That is, the are going to man a
threat and need to get back on the range, so they go to a gate,
one assumes an alarm is tripped, then they get on the radio and
say I;m a marker blah blah blah.

Anyway, it looks like there is more than just a drum there now.

Are you sure? I think that is the boundary. You take a turn before
getting near the back gate, then the road reaches the drum. I don't
have a waypoint.
