 Your photo labeled   (Radar3)  of the SF-88 site,  the tripod is the same
model that is mounted on the M406E2 trailer at the WarmSprings site..

Yes, I see the resemblance.  I should measure them to see if they are
the same.

Regarding the pole mounted camera, I'd say yes, though perhaps they
may not be very good shots since I couldn't use much magnification
since the mount would not be steady.

I find it less that likely the USAF would piece together Army
components. I have a hard time with the USAF even using Army
gear. ;-)  Now maybe a contractor would piece together components for
a project.
