But what is really interesting is the electronic surveillance gear on
the hill is gone. I don't believe I ever bothered to photograph the
sensors, but IIRC, DLR has a shot provided by Chuck Clark.

I'm guessing the base thinks the new pan/tilt/zoom camera is good
enough to watch the area, or perhaps there is more sophisticated
surveillance gear in place that made the EMIDS obsolete. No dudes
showed up on Monday when we were at the border of Road Block Canyon.

I forgot to mention regarding Road Block Canyon. I noticed
considerable tire tracks at
N37 20 17.8 W115 35 56.5
It is a turn off I never took, but worthy of investigation.
