It is a turn off I never took, but worthy of investigation.

Any sign of that "Nev Dept of IT" tower that's licensed
to be just 1000 yards NW of that intersection?

Nope. Another inspirational versus operational installation. I was
given a link to a spot on radioreference.com that indicates the
Tempiute site is in actuality Mt. Irish.

Nothing has shown up on that hill a bit north of Queen City Summit
where they cut a nice dirt road.

The only new NDOT I've seen is the Warm Springs installation.

Totally unrelated, but I'm told one of the roads near the Old Groom
Road Bypass or whatever they call the road to Road Block Canyon has
one of those wells for Vegas to steal water. I saw a few trucks with
large blue pipe on 93, though I don't know if it is for the water
stealing project. [Jim Gibbons duped all these rural votes to help him
get elected to governor, then promptly screwed them over by stealing
the central Nevada water. Gibbons is the kind of person where if you
shake his hand, you need to count your fingers afterwards.]

Of very minor interest is that seismic sensor along the road to
Tikaboo is gone. That seemed to be a lot of work for naught! Perhaps
there was too much road traffic causing false readings.

Back to comm sites, I got an email from the BLM that they want to use
my photos of the Mt. Brock comm site. Baffling since they have fine
photos of the site themselves, but whatever. The BLM has generally
been nice to me any time I dealt with them, so I let them have the
images. [I'm not too thrilled about their wild horse rules, but I
suspect somebody else is calling the shots.]
