I was in Fresno, California over the Turkey Day weekend and she and
her Code Pink group protested on the corner of the main street in
Fresno with their own anti war group. The news of showed the big
protest. There were a total of 30 people from her group and the
Fresno group. Completely pathetic. There were twice as many
protesting her on the other side of the street, but the news focused
on her and gave here plenty of time to speak.
She would have a lot more cred if she didn't
align herself with those pink losers. Although
her appearances with Jessie Jackson weren't exactly
a huge step up in the credibility ladder.
I would have to guess that her son would have been
ashamed by the behavior of his mom. I note in her bio
that her father worked at Lockheed Martin in So cal.
No doubt he was building war machines to pay her way
through college at UCLA and Cerritos College.
She states - [Pres Bush] "I know he feels no pain for our loss.
And I know he's a man of war."
Well Cindy, if you "know" he's a man of war, what the fuck
did you let your son go to work for him for? What youngster
joining the service in the past several years isn't aware of
the extremely likely requirement to go to Iraq or Affy. And
exactly which of those servicemen/women aren't made painfully
aware that they might have to give their life? Every one of
them voluntarily seek employment with the armed forces and then
are asked to swear to uphold the decisions of their superiors.
Don't even try and convince me that young Casey wasn't made
aware of all the dangers of war. If it was such a problem for
Cindy, she should have spent all that energy trying to convince
her son not to take a job in the military. Instead all I see
now is her in photos with a bunch of freaks at some kind of
sign holding circus.
Casey died with honor. Cindy is doing a tremendous dishonor
to him.

Making a living as professional protester is dubious at best. That
said, much of what Code Pink has done in the past has been pretty
useful. They helped a bit setting up the Jersey Girl's, which in turn
caused the 9/11 Commission to be formed. Granted that commission had
the credibility of a Soviet era show trial, but at least it was a
start.
I was with the Code Pink ladies protesting Arnold at one of his
rallies. The governator has got to be the worst thing that ever
happened to California.

However, this Cindy Sheehan tour is pretty silly. You tell the
military to do something, they do it if it is legal. Occasionally if
it's illegal, they do it too. So their beef is with the commander in
chief, not the USAF.
As a taxpayer, I shed a tear at every drone loss.
