A local Area 51 Tour company offers the clients the opportunity to see
a rock that looks like an alien head and see some Native American
drawings. Where is this and what is this all about? I have had some
recent inquires about this. It does sound cool, but I am not familiar
with the specific spot.
There are quite a number of good petroglyphs in the Mt. Irish area:

There are also a number of them in the Badger Valley/Tikaboo area, but
you are on your own to find those.
There is rock art by Texas Lake. When you first hit the lake, there is
a rocky outcropping on your left. Parallel it, and you will see a sign
indicating petroglyphs. At that sign, I never found them. However,
drive further along the outcropping and you will encounter another
site. It has some barb wire fencing, but it's really not fenced in.
Anyway, you can find rock art there. There is a spot where it appears
people have used for camp fires with a rock covering, i.e. a natural
shelter. I don't know if this dates back to the Indians or if it is
more recent.
I debated if I should post waypoints or not since these sites are not
secure. It really sucks to see some jerk scribble a tag next to the
art of the Indians. I stopped posting locations of junk vehicles,
crashes, etc. after I discovered the areas get raided.
I can post photos if you want, but it might ruin the discovery. Many
of the petroglyph sites are on the USGS topo maps.
Chuck Clarke is the guy that knows where all the stuff is located.
People really underestimate Chuck regarding his probing of the area.
There is much he never put in writing.
