There are all sorts of entertaining pieces of debris out there, mostly
in the form of harmless dummy bombs.  But spend enough time in the
desert and you will see dangerous things.  I've seen several live 50
caliber rounds, and one location (which will remained unnamed) had
live 20mm rounds of recent vintage just scattered around in plain
sight. Those are scary-big shells.   But the most memorable was coming
across the ass end of an unexploded 2.75 inch rocket (the one with the
folding fins) sticking out of the side of a hill.
