I am sure they have many targets for the UAV pilots to practice with. It also made me wonder how many of the Commies used fake equipment during those huge Military parades!http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OEQH6e3VqNU/TAP4j-F6BnI/AAAAAAAAAcw/CfYeSZc...The commies had a special trick in their parades. They would loop around the same gear over and over. I'm sure if you noticed this, you shut your mouth about it! You need to gamma adjust the image. Probably best to crop out the middle third of the image first. I tweaked it a bit in irfanview so I could make out the fake scud. It's pretty obvious the rocket is well uh ventilated. I can't make out much on the truck, though clearly not the MAZ-543. But it does look like more than just a trailer.
Yes the image is very poor. Unfortunately it was after 8pm and the sun had just set. The other neat thing was the air strip at the NTS was lit up. This was the first time I had seen it lit up waiting for something to land. I waited nearby on our way to Pahrump, but didn't see anything land. I wonder how often it is used? It sure seems like an odd spot for a landing strip.
