Eyeballing the documents, there was a proposal to put this at Mud
Lake. Fat chance. The location is north east of Tonopah, out of the
way of the range. The SCADA will be hardwired or fiber, something I
hadn't realized was done. I thought SCADA was always radio based. I
suspect this was to avoid situations where the base does some funny
radio test and the plant blows up! You may recall the 2004 car lock
fiasco, where Nellis was interfering with remotes.
